This British General Nexus 800 series Type A RCD fused connection unit continuously monitors connected appliances for earth current faults, enhancing safety by cutting power in such cases. The latched (passive) version retains closed contacts even after a power loss, ideal for appliances like fridge freezers. Installation is easy with in-line terminals, captive screws, and screw covers. Twin earth is standard for high-integrity protective connections. It requires a minimum 35mm box depth, with a provided 10mm spacer for shallower boxes. It's also anti-microbial certified, inhibiting 99% of bacterial growth, including MRSA, E-Coli, Salmonella, and Klebsiella Pneumonia bacteria. The white front-plate resists fading, discoloration, and scratches, with inherent anti-microbial properties, softly rounded edges, and screw caps for an elegant look.
