A great retrofit replacement for existing sockets with 35mm back boxes, the Evolve Pearlescent White Double Switched 13a WIFI Extender USB Socket 1xUSB-A(2.1) from British General features angled in line colour coded terminals and back-out captive screws. Modern interiors will appreciate the socket's screwless flat plate that clips on and off. In addition, the device is also available with USB-A or C ports.

Does this product solve all my WIFI problems?

This WIFI socket will only extend an existing signal, not create a new one. In the case of a weak signal at the source (router), it will be even weaker at the extender point because of the drop in signal strength over distance. Additionally, there are other factors to consider when extending WIFI signal, such as solid brick walls, appliances, and old inefficient routers and more. If possible, we always recommend the installation of wiring of an Ethernet cable and using additional routers (monitors) or mesh systems for customers in-store. For any questions or advice before purchasing, please contact sales.

Would it be better if every socket had a USB port?

We recommend using USB sockets only where you charge your devices, such as bedside, kitchen, and offices. USB outlets do not need to be installed at every socket point in your house or office.
