Description

Decorative triple twisted, textile braided, double insulated PVC flex designed for use on pendants, wall and ceiling light fittings. This product is a 3 core 0.5 mm²¬†twisted PVC cable, suitable for Class I fittings.

Available in over 10 colours, this decorative flex can be matched to all of your design needs.

Cable Standards

Low Voltage European Directive No. 2014/35/UE.

Stranding of Conductor:
Class 5 electrolytic tinned flexible copper conductor, conforming to IEC 60228 requirements.

Inner Insulation:
TI2 type PVC conforming to EN 50363-3 requirements, hardness: (92 + 2) Sh-A.

Outer Insulation:
Transparent TI3 type PVC conforming to EN 50363-3 requirements, hardness:(87 + 2) Sh-A. The outer covering will not be seperable from the inner insulation.

Cable Assembly:
The cores are braided in viscose rayon before being twisted together.

Just the job for vintage lamps

I used this cable to refurbish a wooden table lamp made by my grandfather in the 1950s - it was wired with bell wire! The new cable looks just right with the polished wood, and it was slim and flexible enough to thread easily through the long narrow hole in the wooden shaft.
