Is it necessary to use a CT Clamp?
Since most modern properties have high load demands and the installation of electric vehicles is becoming increasingly popular, it is highly recommended that the EV charger be connected to the incoming electrical supply using a CT Clamp. Due to BG SyncEV dynamic load balancing technology, the charger will only use the available load when it is free during the charging process, thus preventing the maximum demand from exceeding the fuse size incoming into the property.
